Mandy Nellestein born (1967) and living in Ede.
From my earliest memory I have been drawing and playing with writing. Perhaps not surprising with a painter as a mother and a draftsman-designer as a father.
The drive to be creative has never left me. My preference was always for nature, animals, especially horses and dogs. However, in recent years other HP's have come my way and I seem to enjoy immortalizing these courageous "carts" in the oil.
This, in combination with my permanent love for horses, has created the plan to establish PK-art. A small club of artists.
However, PK does not only stand for Horse Powers(in Dutch), but also for a much deeper layer and awareness. As an abbreviation of Perfect Key, the meaning is much broader. Thus we try to find and be the perfect tonal resonance within ourselves to resonate with beauty, capture it and offer these results to those who resonate with our works.
