Homeward bound is one of a series of paintings I have made from a deep inner feeling. They come to me as my most authentic work, close to my heart and soul. It's a self portrait.The woman in the boat brings a left piece of nature back home to bing it into safety against a world in which it is threatened. The vulnerable roe deer symbolises nature we sadly enough often tread over. A longer description is available if you are interested.
