Citella

2017

For family Boon I had the honour to paint their recently passed away horse Citella. The mare has reached an age over thirty years and has done her very best for many times during the Lunterse dag. Ofcourse in full uniform, just like the family was dressed in Veluwer costume attending the famous parade "de Reutemeteut" for years.

"The Black Pearl of the sea"

For the diptych I was asked to paint of the Friesian mare Esmee, the first painting became a portrait of the black lady, the second one a seasight where she shows her power of life in all freedom. It was a feast to present her this way.

Exspensive

Ekspensive is the beautiful model I was allowed to use for the exhibition in Galery Zuid. The theme Gelderland is presented here as this stallion is of the breed Klassiek Paarden Stamboek Gelderland (Classic Horse Pedigree Gelderland).

Friesian mare Esmee

Christmascard MZD

This design my mother(landscape) and I(horses,carriage) made together for the Manege Zonder Drempels to have it transformed into a christmas card. The income is completely for this Manege for disabled handicapt people. The painting will be granted to publisher Modern who prints the card every year for free

Trust

For a paintingdemonstration/exhibition during a folklore event I was offered an image to paint of a declaration of love from a little girl to a sturdy Welsh Cob. It prooved that this horse had a soft spot for her and the trust was mutual.

Wilskracht

When I was looking for Gelders beauties to use for the exhibition in Galerie Zuid, the handsome stallion Wilskracht came on my path. I was allowed to use him as a model for the idea I had. But to my happy suprise one of the owners asked me to also paint the hores in commission. Well, that's always a feast, to eternalise such a wonderful animal.
