Homeward bound
2016Homeward bound is one of a series of paintings I have made from a deep inner feeling. They come to me as my most authentic work, close to my heart and soul. It's a self portrait.The woman in the boat brings a left piece of nature back home to bing it into safety against a world in which it is threatened. The vulnerable roe deer symbolises nature we sadly enough often tread over. A longer description is available if you are interested.
The Synagogue
2010The Synagogue shows a Rabbi who walks with a roe deer trhough a Synagogue existing of trees and light. This Symbolises that creation, nature, the house is where the Great Master is to be found. The vulnerable roe deer accompanies the Rabbi as a friend which brings him into a bond between nature and culture.
The Green Man, Equilibrium
2009The Green Man symbolises a long story which is too long to place here. Saying it very shortly the painting could be called Yin Yang. I gave the painting the name The Green Man, Equilibrium. I'll be happy to send people who are interested in the complete description which I see in it, but then, ofcourse everyone who wants to can read his or her story in it themselves.
